Privacy

This site has no accounts, forms, comments or newsletter. It does not ask for your name or email.

Google Analytics

I use Google Analytics to count visits and see which notes are read. It sets two first-party cookies (_ga and one starting with _ga_) that tell repeat visits apart, and sends Google the page, referrer, approximate location and device type.

Google Signals is switched on, so Google can link visits from people signed in to a Google account who allow ad personalisation. Google says Analytics does not log or store IP addresses.

To opt out, block the cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.

Server and Cloudflare

The site is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare and my server keep standard request logs (IP address, page, time, browser) to run and protect the site.

Theme switch

If you click the light/dark switch, your choice is saved in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device.
